The latest middle-of-the-road predictions for POG are that it will lanquish in the 270-350 range for 1998. Beyond that point IMHO the factors or powers that have held the price low will ease and it should start another cyclical upswing by the end of the millenium. This rise may happen much sooner if the global impact of the Asian crisis overrides any price manipulations that may exist by central banks, U.S., Rothchild's, etc. etc. etc. that MAY be at work currently.

Given that ANZ has the potential for open pit mining in Ojolali production costs could well be in the low or sub $100/oz range. Therefore yields could well be in the $150-250+/oz range (pls correct if this is too simplistic an assumption).

So, short term there's silver and borate to raise the share price and then later gold will come into play. They also now have significant geographic diversification (S.Af., Canada, Indo, Serbia) that should help buffer them against socio-political risk as well.... sounds like a great short/long term strategy mix to me.

The more I see of this company the more I like.
