So I think we should all just stop paying taxes, set up a business are two to scam people, and grope whoever we want. We should emulate or leaders... This is like waking up and discovering the person you're married to is a serial killer. Wait, it's just a nightmare right? Nope... I'm still trying to picture Trump and Melania standing across from Obama and Michelle when he is sworn in... It's winter in America

I agree that Bernie would likely not have won the election either. African Americans would not have supported him in required numbers and Trump would have campaigned against him for being being a Socialist.

I believe Hillary would have been a decent President but she is not a very good politician. Bill Clinton was one of the finest politicians of the 20th century and one of the worst Presidents, being responsible for two of the worst domestic policy decisions of the 20th Century, implementation of NAFTA and the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act.

I originally supported Elizabeth Warren for President and then Bernie. I don't know that Elizabeth Warren would have won either.

Many Democrats will blame the loss on the Republicans for voter suppression, the FBI fiasco, etc. I reject those notions. As Democrats we know that the Republicans are evil and will do horrible things to win. I lay blame on Democratic leadership hubris. Having elected Obama, a great historical achievement, the leadership decided to stack the deck to discourage other candidates from challenging Hillary as the party nominee. Only crazy Bernie wouldn't be deterred from running. Elizabeth Warren wisely chose the sidelines.

At the end of the day the DNC chose to bring a knife to a gun fight. While I respect both of the Clintons for their years of public service, I sincerely hope that they become politically invisible going forward so a new generation of leaders can emerge within the party.

Only electoral America is Trump. It looks like Hillary won the popular vote. A sad day for the majority of us.

Your reply is very short on critical thinking. If only 1 in 100 Trump voters had voted for Hillary, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida flip back to Clinton, giving her a total of 307 electoral votes. I am willing to bet that 1% of Trump voters would have found Sanders more appealing than Trump and black voters would have still voted the same as they did.

In fact, considering how few people actually voted for both candidates, Sanders would have done a lot better. And the Dems had to do was to respect the people's desire for change.
