Now when Gore got mired in hanging chads back in 2000, many Democrats were complaining about the electoral system in hopes that they could change the rules and crown Gore. But of course it was after the election and too late and we got Bush for a total of 8 years. When Obama came in and had a Democrat majority in the legislature for a couple of years, the left was too busy being couch potatoes, eating Cheetos and watching Rosie O'Donnell reruns to care about "fixing" this "problem".

I'm glad that I haven't heard silly calls this time around for a "do-over".

If we had no electoral college then Trump would have to find a way to appeal to California and NY. The big states would get what they want at the expense of small states. And we would be in the crapper.
