I was thinking the same thing. With the demise of the Asian Tiger fabs that were being built at losses, I think that prices for DRAMs will stabalize. In fact, I think the whole chip arena will stabalize. Stable prices mean stable wafer prices too, thus the bottom for MEMC possibly. And the same for Micron. I have been considering Micron for some time and waiting for some similance of a bottom. This could be it. It will take some time. We will see.

Re:. If MU breaks 28 and hold above it on Monday, I may have to flip to the bullish side and get the bear into hybernation. ANDWe will have to see how the first week of trading in January pans out.

Zeev,

Isn't this what one should not do in investing? In essence, you are simply following a trend, buying if others are buying, waiting for a technical signal before you place your bets. Doesn't it make more sense to search out quality cos. and buy them when they are trading substantially below their growth levels, regardless of what others are doing? My greatest fear in investing is to become a lemming such as those on WS. Once I recognize that happen, I have vowed to place all my $$ in an index fund.

Regards,

Brian
