Sure, Trump lied. I don't see him getting any jobs back, or making coal mining profitable. But he told the lies people wanted to hear, and Hillary made no case those workin' stiffs bought.. The fact is, more and more people are going to need some way to earn a living, as we've been discussing here. That's a reality. If Trump and the (R)'s don't deliver, the (D)'s may get another chance in four years. That's democracy. But the (R)'s have NO EXCUSE for not delivering this cycle. They have total control.
