Marshall McLuhan taught us the medium is the message. The presidency and the Republican Party are to the right and the country is to the left e.g. minimum wag.. The Democratic Party is the vessel that holds liberal ideology. But we have been completely defanged and have no power. So there's nothing we can do. But the medium, is the fact that the entire world keeps moving left as they get educated, and is like gravity, it is a force. So what I expect to see is that as the Republican Party burns down this country, it will cause a reaction much like we saw in 1932 when the public voted for FDR. The Republicans had burned down the country during the 20s with three successive right wing Republican presidents and the people voted in FDR to rescue the country. The problem of course, is that the Democrats will not win again until we undergo a great cataclysm. So there will be an awful lot of pain and suffering in the meantime. And the poor and uneducated will suffer most. The people that voted for Trump truly did not have any idea what they were doing. But they will soon see that it is not going to turn out the way they envisage.
