My disadvantage is I'm unfamiliar with Linux and Zorin but found a few things that might point you in the right direction. I'm fairly certain you don't need new hardware, you just need the proper drivers.

Regarding the wireless and the DLink N300 aka DWA-130:

Don't plug in the DLink N300 while installing the drivers according to
this guy that sounds like Rob Zombie speaking very low.

Keep searching, you'll find something eventually. I read the is a place in the Zorin Menu that has additional drivers, maybe look there as well.
