I am a liberal Democrat. And the conservatives can yell at us all they want, and call us names, but we will always worry about them. That is in our nature. The crying shame that future historians will talk about, is how the downtrodden in the United States in the early part of the 21st century voted to slay those that would help them, the liberals. Think about it, who have we not stood up with, we liberals. We stood with the slaves, we stood with the women when they wanted to vote, we stood with the worker and unions, we stood with the African-Americans in the 60s, and we stood with all downtrodden people in the 60s as equal. We reject hierarchical societies in favor of roles. We embraced the equality of all people on earth. And we have stood with the LBGT community back to back for over 50 years, understanding! And we will stand with the Republican workers in the heartland, no matter what. But history will show, that they slew us and rendered us all but ineffective and the whirlwind that ensued consumed too many.
