I haven't gotten my letter yet (perhaps because I moved last summer). It does sound very encouraging, though, and postponing the secondary offering until later is a prudent move.

That may put a damper, however, on additional major acquisitions in the near future. HMAR might become overextended on credit. TMAR was put on a credit watch after their latest acqusition.

News of another acquisition is out this morning:

This one is in the tug boat and related business in Port Arthur and Lake Charles Louisiana. Seems like a good fit with HMAR's existing operations. I wonder though how much longer HMAR can continue to make acquisitions without a secondary stock offering.

Shareholder letter from Hvide is disquieting. This letter was sent only to certain shareholders and not to all. The selection process favored buy side only. All investors should be wary until a very public explanation is offered. Selective dissemination of information certainly violates the spirit of a free market and may in fact be in violation of securities laws.
