I have read them. Those people are wrong. Freeman Dyson for example, whom I respect, bases his opinions on climate models from the early 1980s that he had seen. Which, compared to what we have now, had a lot of insufficiencies, shall we say. I mean, we didn't even had computers capable of running Navier-Stokes equations in anything like real time at that point. There are watches that can do that now. And we know a lot more about the processes involved.

I have known about climate change since the 1970s. Was introduced to in when I got my BS in Marine Science. It was never controversial until the Republicans politicized it around the turn of the century.

So the delusions are all on your side. The science is on mine.
