JD U are right ---3rd qtr the earliest for asnd if LU IS SHOPPING. WHAT is the need that Livingston filled over at LU? 9x sales no less? NT has good pipeline developed with CABLETRON and Shiva---Does their ship come in at a much more reasonable multiple where currently both trade? Zucco was former Star at LU helped architect the FRIENDS and FAmily marketing for MCI as well. HE IS at SHVA'S helm now A ship that sails for less than 1.8 x BOOK!!! What Gives JD? SPEAK to me.. I'm long and so far wrong. jr2

4. Speaking of Livingston, that acquisition still does not make sense if LU were to
swallow ASND. Why burn $800-900 million for something that you do not need?

There is a rumor from an LU employee that LU came to the conclusiong that buying Livingston was an error. It is done, however.
