In the old west, the crime rate in Dodge City was zero, and that's because everyone carried protection... in modern times, those U.S. cities with the strictest gun laws have the highest crime and murder rates... Does it really take a genius to figure it out??? GZ

HERE'S WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO END THESE TERRORIST MASS MURDERS AT HOME... In 1776 we had the Minutemen, it's time to gather ourselves and be Minutemen once again to defend our way of life and to defend the America spirit... As President, Donald could create a Civilian Response Corp much like how JFK created the Peace Corp... We now have more than 90 million concealed carry permits across the country, more than 200 million gun owners, and more than 12 trillion rounds of ammo... we also now have more than 300,000 unemployed military veterans... these vets are already highly trained and skilled in combat weaponry and fire arms... together, our civilian population is actually the biggest army in the world, by far... Members would receive additional advance training in something like first responder training but designed specifically to respond to ongoing terrorist threats in public places... members of this Corp would mingle undetected and be dispersed among the regular population and would not be seen as anything more than just another citizen walking by, they would just go about their daily lives undetected in public... this would be a voluntary civilian extension to the local and State police agencies, but be run under a completely different command... the concealed carry permits for these responders could be a permit level II ranking... also, ALL those now holding CC permits should ALWAYS carry when out of the house... although I believe everyone should open carry... Members of the voluntary Civilian Response Corp could serve as roaming security in all public places and and would be prepared to be the first responders on the scene even before the police are called and arrive... We need to get our country on a war footing and war mentality, and we need to think along these lines right now... as they say, the best defense is a good offense... The Civilian Response Corp would most definitely NOT be politically correct... Frankly, I don't know how we don't yet have a Civilian Response Corp put together by now, but I hope we do with Donald in Office, this kind of Civilian Response Corp would be a huge deterrent to terrorist attacks in all public places... people would feel safe again and the civilian population would then be proactive instead of being helpless victims... In 1776 we had the Minutemen, it's time to gather ourselves and be Minutemen once again to defend our way of life and to defend the America spirit... After all, the French had resistance fighters during the WW II nazi occupation of their country, why don't we have resistance fighters in our own country to ensure the safety of our fellow Americans... So, let's hope Donald puts something like this together... I sent this suggestion to Donald's campaign team a few months ago and it was received favorably within a few days, let's see if he does something with it... GZ
