Paul Engel. My HTG very last trip to this thread. Since you are expert in all aspects of Intel, I think you owe it to the investors on this thread to tell them your opinion of what will happen to Intel's stock price after the earnings report and conference call this month. And please don't talk about what will happen in 1999 and beyond. For this thread to have any investor value the short term performance is important. While I have no doubt Intel will perform well in the future, you don't need an investor forum if your strategy is hold and ride out all the dips. If you had forewarned of a 30% drop in prices, and had credibility as a short term guru, I think everyone would have sold at $100 and bought back at $70, or at least made a killing on PUTS! It's obvious you think most professional analysts are idiots, but instead of calling them idiots, why not just give the investors your projections for Q1'98 and the reasons for those projections? If you hit the mark in April you'll justify all your pontificating. Anyone can talk about performance in 1999, who's going to remember? I would appreciate it if you also e-mailed me these projections. Who knows, you may be as good as you claim? You didn't accept my friendly bet re; Compaq, but for the investors on this thread you should respond to this request.
