Is anybody interested in putting together a list of what's inside manufacturer's set-top boxes? David did an excellent job with DVD: oz.net PS. How about DTV equipment?

China: World Bank funds first digital video disc production line 01/05/98 BBC Worldwide Monitoring Source: Xinhua news agency, Beijing, in English 1405 gmt 3 Jan 97/BBC Worldwide Monitoring/(c) BBC China's first digital video disc ( DVD ) production line will begin operations in June in Shanghai, Xinhua news agency reported. With a World Bank loan, the Shanghai Golden Image CD Corp plans to introduce the production line in Shanghai. Bidding on the production line is under way for manufacturers from around the world. The DVD production line can also be used for producing CDs, VCDs, and CD-ROMs.
