it is helpful to see the alternative in government. I agree with that, if only, in this case, as a silver lining. It is unusual for one party to have complete control of our government. That's a no-excuses scenario. It will be interesting to see how it plays out and how it is judged. It would, of course, be better if the alternatives collaborated and constructively corrected themselves and each other rather than generating time-sliced swings. But that's not the way it is anymore.
