I think she is too smart and is too nice to run for politics. Plus, if you have a great gig at Stanford with pay and prestige that lets you live here, it is a tough sell to move to the Washington swamp where you will be attacked by half the residents for whatever you do just because you are not from their party.

Sadly, the outrageous gamesmanship of BOTH the far left and far right has RUINED the country IMHO in that we are not as great as we like to think we are and the constant bickering between the two extremes prevents anything from getting done.

The only ones who really profit from it are those smart enough to follow the crooks (buy stocks) or get paid to throw mud... as lobbyists, politicians, paid commentators, pundits, comedians and "foundation" members who get speaking fees in exchange for help getting access to the taxpayers pot of money.

Of course she likes him. She's on the Exxon payroll as a consultant.
