>>Be careful how much you read into those cookie cutter IR conversations.<<

Well said, T Bowl.

Another you could have cited was the optimism re APM based on conversations with Crisman before the last Q disaster. It cost me a bunch.

All the DD makers look good technically - and bull traps are made of good-looking technicals. WDC at least is confirming with good volume.

RE the differential dog controversy: I can do differential equations, but I'm not as good as my dog at catching frisbees. And he would have done better than i've done in the last two months just by throwing darts. My girl friend has outpaced the S&P all year by mechanically applying a combination of Zacks, Zweig's investment performance report and the IBD's Relative strength rankings. It works, damn it.

Good point Todd. Regardless of the positive spin HMTT IR has put on their outlook, I still like their current prospects. I've done my homework and I'm holding a substantial position long. The recent industry turmoil has taken its toll but I'll ride it through on this one. As for others including the major drive makers, well I'm still watching.

Thanks for the reminder. Regards - Dale

Re: Rob S. QNTM's golden boy

Thanks for the blast from the past TB. Those who don't study history ...

This guy had a classic case of stock infatuation, totally blinding him to faults in his beloved. Let this be a lesson to all of us.
