We have good relations with the Saudi Leaders, and during Obama's Admin we attempted improved relations with the Iranian leaders. I am trying to think of a leader we have relationships with where your comment would not apply. Coming up with more applies than doesn't apply. So how do we guard against that assumption, other than stating we want to pursue better relations in the world, "even though" ...
