Stockman,
I'm the one who started asking about the processors in Nintendo not Halla. So, trash me as usual.

StockMan and All,

Re: "Trying to find some hope that the Mxi is useful for something, when it really isn't ..."

Cyrix has been using IBM as their Fab source ... IBM has excellent technology,
but is not a low cost producer. Now Cyrix will be using National which
is a technology follower and will not be able to provide leading edge .25um technology.
There has also been some discussion on this thread about Cyrix also
using TSMC ... TSMC is an ASIC Fab that also provides last generation
process technology. It's not clear what is the NSM/CYRX business plan??
Will they just try to provide low cost/low margin CPU's and be barely
able to "squeak out" a very small profit ??

Make It So,
Yousef
