You do realize that your opinion does not influence reality at all? You are aware of that, aren't you? Because it is an actual fact that it is happening. And the models, while not totally perfect, are pretty good. That they have even predicted certain things that should be happening, but hadn't been observed. When they looked for evidence, it was happening as the models showed. You tend to take things that might have been true a decade or more ago and assume they are still true.
