Alex, if you weren't so intent on discrediting all of my viewpoints, you would have been able to discern exactly what I was saying. And it is this: I go there to read things that I'm not being told about elsewhere AND I want them to be factually based. That's different from saying that everything on Breitbart is factually based. Why? Because much of Breitbart is opinions/editorializing type articles without much mention of data or other facts to support the opinions. This I ignore.

What I'm looking for are actual factual happenings around the world--actual events. And I'm also looking for some opinion based reporting that draws on reliable data, say govt. data, but presents the reader with another way of looking at things, i.e. an alternative viewpoint.

Another thing about Breitbart, which is assuredly not classy like the Atlantic or New Yorker, is that the articles are short and very concise. A good way to start the morning and if I want more I can google. For the most part I ignore the comments sections which can become irrationally racist and xenophobic.
