Blacks simply failed to turn out in the same numbers they did in 2008 and 2012 across the board.

I wonder if your counter-party or someone else here with similar views would try to claim that was voter suppression across the board... Not that this makes a lot of sense considering that includes areas thoughly under Democratic party control (they might want to suppress Republican votes, but not black votes), and also that there is the obvious reason for the lower turnout - Turnout was higher then normal when Obama was running)

You must have read through your Trump lenses and missed this:
The data crunchers over at insightus have demonstrated the correlation conclusively. During the first half of the early voting period, in the 58 “unimpaired counties” —i.e., those in which voting has not been made more difficult in the last four years—black people are turning out at 91 percent of their 2012 levels. In 17 “suppressed counties,” that number is 72 percent.
That was in THIS election.
