Cynicsm can be one of the worst characteristics in a person in that it degenerates to assuming the worst in other people. We have to understand that government is inherently bad, but politicians are not. Some may be, but they usually don't stick around. I consider myself pretty damn cynical when it comes to politicians. After Bush embezzled Tarp, I decided they were all in it together. Haven't seen much since then to show me I'm wrong..... Btw, I don't assume the worse in other people, you should see the looks you get when you tell the kid handing you your food in the drivethru "thank you".
