I know it's big for you, but I've always felt the (D)'s should come out with a strong pro gun rights statement, and start taking those voters away from the (R)'s. For so many of the single-issue 2nd amendment voters, that's the only issue that binds them to the (R)'s. We're never going to get America's guns out of their 'cold dead hands' anyway. As with transgender bathroom rights, it's just not a sensible, practical issue, correct or not. We'll just have to accept periodic mass slaughters.
