I still see it as a big win overall. It's problems are caused by it not being true universal coverage.

Not in my view. It's a monstrosity of a system, the worst of both worlds. They could have accomplished as much by way of coverage by simply changing the Medicaid threshold and creating a fund for those who weren't qualified for insurance by virtue of previous conditions. They could have had it up and running in six months with no fuss, no muss. Its problems are caused by being a kludgy mess.

Let's see what havoc the Republicans and Trump wreak.

I can't wait to see how it plays out. They are not in an enviable position. They've had nearly ten years to produce an alternative yet are still talking about selling insurance across state lines, which might have helped somewhat pre PPACA but is really dumb now. I don't mind watching them squirm.
