>>>Now that they are coming into total power they have no ability for FACT BASED criticism of their own Politicians.<<<

This is the biggest concern/fear for me as well. We haven't actually seen that yet because the power shift hasn't taken office, but the problem has huge potential. For what it's worth that is what I saw with regards to Dem leadership, although they didn't have the one party state situation. They did have the media and public schools doing their bidding though.

>>>Today, states like New York, California and New Jersey subsidizing over-represented states like Wyoming,<<<

I went to Wyoming last month and caught some whopper trout. I also hung out and talked to people. It's too bad there can't be more interaction but I think they get New Jersey and California. The opposite is not the case. Communication always improves things for everyone and I highly recommend it. Most city dwellers don't seem to have the skill needed. I stopped and tried to talk to a guy putting a new window into a house. It went like this:

=====

Me: Hi is that your house?

Nope. (his back to me)

Me: Oh, did you get hired to fix that window.

No. (still has his back to me)

Me: I see. Um I've been looking at real estate here to compare the living expenses and life style with where I come from in Colorado.

Oh. Be careful.(Still back to me)

Me: Why?

Make sure, any house you look at has a foundation.

Me: They make houses without foundations? (he turns and introduces himself as John)

Yes ... blah blah blah long conversation ... he was fixing his grammas house. He grew up there but didn't recommend it for a lot of reasons. Got to know the guy and felt like a friend by the time the conversation was over.

====

The thing is, if you don't consider the issues people in Wyoming face (and they don't believe anyone does), you may as well boot them out of the nation because their lives and economy would be destroyed without consideration from the rest of the nation.

If you can't find a spot in the Big Tent for them, it's your loss.

Less populated states are given disproportional power in the senate and the electoral college.

But that was by design. What do you think the founding fathers should have done instead?
