I wanted to share a discussion i had today with someone very close to WWS. We were talking about a remedy to the Kaz situation, and the firm is still very sure their will be full recovery and it will be settled with the government outside of arbitration. Should be worth about .50/share. The deal signed with Kaz is very tight and much stronger than the placer dome settlement which resulted in geting back 25m out of 35m spent. Further, when the president of Kaz was recently in the US, The lobby group that WWS used was so powerful that the first thing AL GORE (spelling?)said was I hear you have difficulty with World Wide Minerals. Is that how you treat all western investors.
I don't know how much people on this thread know of the lobby process, particularily in the US, but to get to the VP during trade negotations is very big. As i have said before, this company has some large supporters and very strong connections, and even though there has been a large set back, I strongly believe they will eventually meet their goal of being a 5-6 million pound a year producer, and it may be sooner than you think. This is not your average junior resource play!
