We get a lot of slanted info. Take Aleppo. "The Russian's are bombing Hospitals!" The reason for that is the Hospitals are were the rebel leaders HQ. So the Ruskies bite the bullet and kill them. The same thing happens in Gaza and the reason the Israelis can't beat them is because the leaders are safe and sound in the hospitals. The rest of the world would go nuts if they bombed them.

The Sunni's in Aleppo are crying to us about being hit while the Christians and other minorities in Aleppo are delighted with the knocking out of the Sunnis.

There is no "good" side for us to be on in the Islamic world. We have to pick the best of a bad lot if we interfere. Another very good reason for us to minimize our actions there. Support Israel and let Allah sort out the rest.

Now, they're in a panic. They've been opposing Trump since before the election. You know, I'm thinking that if a person is a very successful property developer like Trump, despite the flamboyance, he has to have a very analytical mind and value methodical procedures. Once he's installed and has his cabinet in place, I expect some folk are in for a very rough ride.

Nice summary. Maybe the last 8 years gave them mixed messages, but in the end, the Intelligence agencies work at the pleasure of the president, and not the other way around.

This is still America, and the Praetorian guard doesn't get to select the next Emperor. Not yet, anyway.
