The Dems failed because.. TRUMP WON because he took it to them. My eyes were opened to Trump's winning ways during one of the GOP debates. Ted Cruz was attacking New York values. Trump let him finish, then calmly reminded everyone of the New York values that were on display for everyone to see following 9/11, forcing Cruz to stand there and applaud New York values. That was the end of Cruz. The election results had little to do with what Dems did wrong, and everything to do with what Trump did right

IMO that was one of John Hinderaker's best posts. Globalism IS an extreme left agenda. - impoverishing their own middle class and embracing the influx of Islamists is in their view an acceptable collateral damage. The primary goal of globalists is to erase national identities and heritage.These *Intellectuals*' fatal error is in underestimating the power of 'trivial' things like national anthems and core beliefs that constitute the soul of a people.
