How do you feel that taxpayers often subsidize the pharmaceutical companies to research a drug but then instead of it being open sourced immediately we give them years to make billions. I've always thought it odd that we taxpayers pay for the research and then don't open source it. This is a case where I do disagree with the Republicans who are fine with funding the research and then the taxpayer get gouged for the product after the tax payer actually paid the company to perform the research.
