That is common among uneducated people. That's off base! The people I have in mind are not uneducated. The prominent Trump supporters on this thread are not uneducated. I wrote Trump off early as monumentally unfit for the office, thus there was no need for me to consider any of his positions. Others saw the asshole in him but didn't find that sufficient to be immediately disqualifying so they proceeded to considered his political positions and found them preferable. That may be an oversight, but is not an unreasonable one.
