Possibly the SYKE's acquisition is helping SYSF:

Sykes buys Scotland firm for stock

TAMPA, Fla., Jan 5 (Reuters) - Sykes Enterprises Inc said Monday that it has acquired McQueen
International Ltd for about 3.54 million shares of Sykes common stock.

Sykes common traded at 20-1/2, up 1-1/4.

The transaction, which is estimated to be accretive to earnings per share in 1998, will result in the
recording of one-time merger and related charges in the fourth quarter of the 1997 year, it said

McQueen is headquartered in Galashiels, Scotland, and provides call center support and software
services to the information technology and communications industries.

$15.5M +- .5M in revenue; $0.10/share +- 0.02

Curious what's your rationale; what's behind these numbers? Sure hope you're right.

These would be record revenues and earnings; net margins would be back in the high teens; problems would look behind us. I think we'd be back to 8 - 10 i a heartbeat, and if Syswiz finally starts to support expectations, 8 - 10 will just be a rest stop.

Appreciate your thoughts and past posts.

Dave -

EPS of 8 cents would be terrific.

Thanks for your thoughts.

"I am optimistic we will have a good 4th Q. Here's my best guess:

$15.5M +- .5M in revenue; $0.10/share +- 0.02"

Don't really mean to bring this up for any reason other than --- how could revs be $4-5m??? You were optimistic, but very pessimistic would have been $10M revs, and -.05.

Again, I don't really see how the warnig #s are possible. This isn't a business downturn; it's outright cancelling of contracts, and very possible misrepresentation of past revs. Any other explanations?
