George, thank you very much for showing deserved respect for my true (not pseudo; that's for academic biology) deeper knowledge of this subject -g-. The first two words are versions of the subject matter used primarily in Central American countries, and perhaps even in Mexico. I had a housemate from Guatemala, for example, who used the c-word in every other sentence; he did use "cerote" as the "ito/ico" versions are saved for more affectionate use -g-. I do not think these c-words are used much in South America, but in Argentina they do use a similarly sounding one for the same material (sorete).

Obligatory Xoma comment: are we going to break 6 today?

PB

George. This really doesn't belong on this thread... but. I really enjoy cacaitos' posts, spend extra effort to read them! But, I've got to sign in here on your behalf. My first wife, a chicana, would certainly agree with you- at least in North America; 'Cacaito' means "Little Shit"! Enjoy your sense of humor and moderating influence- keep it up and let's hope that Xoma blooms in 1998! Pax et bonum, mch

I was right, the silence was deafening, pprobably was a news blackout of sorts. We should see lots of news flow now on all fronts.
Could be quite good too.
