This is going to put a lid on Iraqi dreams trump has openly stated that his position is re-invading Iraq and seizing their oil assets. At least, under GWB, the invasion was "justified" initially as a mission to remove Saddam and his WMD's. When they didn't find the WMD's it was changed to "liberating" Iraqis (which never happened). Maybe trump has aims of expanding the US Empire to include the Middle East. Maybe this is his "final solution" to the Muslim "problem".
