Paul et al., I just pulled this quotation off of the MidCom message thread over on Yahoo. Source is an individual known as Headstart 98.
<"At the time of bankruptcy, Total Current Liabilities were $200
million. The $92 million bid from Winstar is scheduled to be
finalized at auction tomorrow (1/6/98) with the closing scheduled
for 1/20/98. There has been NO offer from Winstar to satisfy the
stock holders of Midcom. This stock is total speculation at
this; Midcom's stock has no "book value". You should go back and
read the first 100 or so postings on this site to get a clear
picture of this company. If you are going to buy anything, buy
Winstar."> Bill
