>>>"What do you mean secular education has become contaminated with dogmatic materialism. That is pure nonsense, there is no dogma, only the will of the people."<<<

There can only be dogma via the will of the people. This is why I compared the current Educational dogma problem to the problem that existed up until about 400 years ago, when we found the need to liberate ourselves from religious dogma. Now secular dogma has it's chains on the education system of America. The goal of education should be to achieve a dogma free curriculum. The will of the people will change when the consciousness of the people is ping'd.

Dogma emerges as a pertinent problem when beliefs of the authority have reasonable alternatives, which are not permitted a voice or consideration.

So let's continue the comparison with religious dogma. How were ideas considered 400 years ago when they challenged church dogma? They were often considered as hateful and evil. In modern times reasonable alternatives to the views of secular authority are despised. Students on campus are shunned as out-group members. Speakers are barred, or cast out from campus, or shouted down to keep their message from being heard; after all they are heretics speaking against the secular dogma. Dissenters are dehumanized by pop culture.

"Much education consists in the instilling of unfounded dogmas in place of a spirit of inquiry" (Bertrand Russell).
