You keep dancing around the issue: Is lying to a child because you want that child to believe something you hold dear, which then results in the child growing up unable to distinguish fact from fantasy something you approve of?

Go back and look at the pictures of the Mall on Inauguration day. That is the end point of what doesn't bother you. It bothers me.
