well, if housing keeps going the way it is, the poor and middle class will be so busy trying to pay the ever escalating rent that they'll be too busy to revolt

add in the ever escalating health insurance costs and you've got two massive monetary strangleholds on 99% of Americans

we could add in student debt, credit cards, 7 year car loans at usury rates, etc

Just like Moses and da Pharaoh

"Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves", but still requiring the same daily output of bricks as before.
