That could be a wild hunch, but I'm looking at the chart pattern itself, it doesn't look bad for now... I think with a revved up economy and higher rates that banks in general will do very well through 2017 and 2018...

Reported by U.S. banks: U.S. large banks should repurchase greater than $10 billion of their shares during the first six months of 2017.
I expect an increase in the dollar amount of repurchased shares during the second half of 2017 because dodd-frank limits their cash dividend payout ratio. Excess capital on the books negatively skews their return ratios.
I'm assuming the U.S. economy slowly improves.
