But even this must be interpreted by means of the reason, and the authentic Magisterium of the hierarchical Church, to which Christ has entrusted the guardianship of the deposit of faith, is obstinately rejected. Each one is free to read and to understand Sacred Scripture according to one's personal interpretation. In this way, faith in the word (Parola) of God is destroyed. The Number of the Beast: 666 - Part 4 My comments: This post is not to start discussions, debates, or arguments, about the Protestant Reformation, or Protestant vs Catholic. We are all in this together folks - all who believe and follow Christ. Father Gobbi has been writing the revelations he has said to be receiving from the Virgin Mary since 1973, They started after a visit to Fatima, Portugal. A small village where the Virgin appeared in 1917 to three children. The miracle of the sun was seen by over 80,000 people and reported in all the major newspapers of Europe, as well as the New York Times during October of 1917. The letters Father Gobbi wrote, were to a special group of priest who are devoted followers of Christ and Mary. These Catholic priest have committed themselves to prayer and purity to the highest degree. As of last count, there over 130,000 from almost every country in the world. I asked someone the question, "What happens when there are 144,000?" They smiled and answered, "I guess we will just have to wait and see." Is this some kind of deception of Satan? Could be, but this priest has written over a thousand pages of this stuff since 1973. I've been reading quite a lot of it. It basically covers every piece of scripture related to the "end times". I can only say it's all very very profound. I'm not asking you to believe it. I just offer it for this thread's consideration. It's what one priest believes. I'm just passing it along. Scott
