It is amazing.... At least we still have some choices... just not as many as before.
Hello Kirk: What about the old Ma-Bell remnants to the new AT&T? Just thinking AT&T is growing back from the breakup by acquisitions.
I wonder if compared to the minimum wage, if the cost to have a land line with unlimited local calling is higher or lower today..... Just going from my memory of what I think I paid in College for my half of a land line in the dorm, I think the land line is up about double.
I remember when I though Cell phones were going to take a long time to catch on. <g>
Of course today, if you make the minimum wage, the fees on everyone's phone bills will pay to give you a free or very subsidized line (or even a free cell phone) so maybe it is cheaper and the reason OUR bills are higher is because of all the taxes and fees.

Did you count on government adding a huge fee to your bill to help the poor get free phones?
