Trading Nations are unwarlike, Schumpeter wrote. The more you trade the more you depend on other countries and the more common interests plus the more you inter relate with others.

I am pole position to understand what goes on globally as a result of my work and travels plus I love geography.

Had we had classes in geopolitics people would not be voting the way they have been voting.

RISK
Geopolitics is important for businesses to understand risk.
There are billions of dollars on the table to be lost or gained based on risk and how people and businesses perceive risk

China can rattle saber as much as it can, in the end it needs peace. That can be applied to the whole S. East Asia as they are all dependent on the rest of the world. Think: Malacca Straight. Suez Channel. Panama Channel.

Countries that stir war are exactly the same countries that have no share on trading.

Why the US voted the way it voted. It is very simple.

Risk. Fear. Bad evaluation of risk.

  • The view of boats with people across the Mediterranean.

  • Bombs and shootings in France and Belgium

  • The usual crazy gun shooting in the public place.

  • The truck mowing down people on a parade
These were the causes American people voted for Trump.

Trump can easily spend additional $54bn and no one would contest as they have this bad evaluation of risk.

He can grab tens of pussies and no one will care as he plays with the images planted inside the American electorate brains.

The American brain perceives risk as something that can happen to them instead of evaluating the likelyhood of that actually happen.

See, the the American baby boomer grew up watching the men in blue uniform coming to the rescue of the pious hard working honest American with his wagons surrounded by the savages.

The fort was the last bastion against the savages coming to burn and kill all the Americans inside.

Therefore the American vote for someone who tell them he will protect them from the savages.

Very irrational
