In the 1970/1980s I had a bout of gloom and doom. That was pretty soon after the end of Silver/gold backing of the currency. So I bought some silver and put it away in case there were hard times ahead. Still out there, still a "just in case" sort of investment. More of a partial insurance policy which I hope I never have to cash in. I sleep well and more so recently as my wife now has her very own Mossberg muddy girl 20 gauge to help keep the peace in the neighborhood.

Thanks for the reply, but my question was really and purely just rhetorical... it was not a serious and direct question for you to address, although I appreciate the offering... while everyone is 100% expecting an improved economy and with rates rising (the first of several according to the FED) I was merely asking the question out of wonderment and curiosity since the combination of all the markets are moving in such a way to prompt the question...
