I've got a user that cannot reach the hotel login page for Wi-Fi using their work computer. If they use their personal tablet or laptop they have no issues.

I had a similar problem logging in to a site, but a laptop and other computers worked fine. The work computer was XP. Originally the XP machine was connected direct with a cat-5 when it first started. By switching to wifi, I was able to connect again. After a long time, even that quit, even though the other computers would connect via wifi. The software company wrote me a patch but I have no idea what it did.

I was able to resolve the issue of a user not getting to the hotel Wi-Fi login page. I advised them to go to the tools menu of Internet Explorer. Then go to Advanced Tab> Reset Button> Select everything> Reset. The user verified that they can now get to the login page for hotel guest Wi-Fi.

As always, Internet Explorer sucks.

Add this to your bag of tricks.
