The Nuclear Option I was referring too... was the Republicans ability to change the filibuster rules from 60 to 50 votes needed to pass legislation. There is talk that the broad membership is under pressure to put this in place for the supreme court justice vote - and then leave it in place - essentially ruling congress under one body to do what they will... eliminating the filibuster entirely making it impossible for Senate Democrats to have any influence on any legislation.

Seems it was the release of the FED minutes that seemed to halt the markets enthusiasm even though the DOW had seen an almost 200 point gain. FED minutes showed that the reinvestment shift is to continue...

We should look at the 2 hour charts from March 1 - see if it's resolution can be determined.
