Many people choose a shallow life over wisdom and humanity. Being selfish and unconcerned about humanity can be rewarding if one has no soul.

Ivanka is like her father, not concerned about the plight of other people, which IMO should be the most important goal in ones life i.e. to make the earth a better place to live and help people as much as one can.

I taught my two daughters the values of Eleanor Roosevelt not Ayn Rand.
