DD - Just for the record, Atmel spent only $229 million on capital equipment in the first 9 months of '97, so $250 million in 1998 isn't that bad except in comparison to what was originally hoped for. And I never expected major growth from DRAM or Flash until the end of '98. (I expect the growth to come from DSP and logic makers - either OEM's or foundries).

Dave, I dont think that is a big drop in capital expenditures from last year. Certainly lower but nowhere near what $400M vs $250M would indicate.
