Third-Rail Wireless Services of Nashua, N.H., has chosen the Integrity Broadband Modem for expansion and upgrading of its PRIZM 2400 Broadband Delivery System, providing customers with high-speed two-way wireless access to the Internet, remote data storage and videoconferencing over Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Systems (MMDS) frequencies. Third-Rail is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spike Technologies, Inc. Third-Rail currently holds MMDS licenses in two U.S. cities, and plans to add multiple new markets in first quarter '98. Third-Rail has chosen the Integrity Broadband Modem System for this application over offerings from other competitors because of its reliability, RF performance, throughput, error-correction capabilities and ease of integration.
