Science clearly tells us that successful species adapt to their environment. The "science" Wharf Rat points to is really just legalese for third-world countries to demand reparations from America to build palaces and buy AK-47s.

If Wharf Rat wants to help the people he imagines are hurt by global-warming no one is going to stop him. However, what Wharf Rat really wants is you to be forced to pay for reparations to third world dictators via legal means and threats.
