Bernie's ideas are spot on and the most sophisticated of any Democrat. He is leading the move left in congress and has great influence. As I keep saying, the Democratic Party has been moving left since the turn-of-the-century. It is divided between the Obama/ Hillary moderates and the Bernie/Warren progressives. And what I tried to explain to my progressive friends, was that it would have been fine electing Hillary because she would've had to work with the increasing number of liberals in the Democratic Party and she would've adjusted to that. The Democratic Party is going to continue to move left no matter what.
